After graduating with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1995, Brent went to work in New York City on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and rose to become Vice President of trading for Bear Wagner Specialists and a member of the NYSE. During that time, he earned an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University.
In 2006, Brent left New York and backpacked for a year. In 2007, Brent joined Raymond James with a commitment toward building a practice focused on the financial well-being of his clients.
Brent is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and Certified Investment Management Analyst®, holding the Series 4,7,24,31,51,63 and 65 licenses.
Brent lives in Phoenix with his wife Paige, their children Nicholas and Arden. He is a certified SCUBA diver and an instrument-rated pilot. In addition to working with his clients, Brent enjoys trail running, camping, cooking, playing the guitar (badly), and reading lots of history.
