Marshall Greenwald

Marshall Greenwald is a payments magician and the visionary founder of Ionia, a company dedicated to transforming the payment processing landscape. Recognized as an industry leader by KeyBanc Capital Markets, Marshall has over 20 years of expertise in the field. He serves on the ETA board and is an Advisory Board member for UCI’s CX Certificate Program.

Before founding Ionia, Marshall was the President and CEO of Discount Payment Services, where he led the company for over 22 years in Tempe, Arizona. Because of his experience selling fragmented but effective payment solutions, he questioned why there was no unilateral solution to solve the major pain points in payments. That is how he came up with the idea that eventually led to the conceptualization of Ionia.
