Rick Yvanovich

CEO and Author

Rick is a serial entrepreneur, techie, Brit, baby boomer, and professional bean counter (hence
the FCMA CGMA FCPA) with 40+ years in supermarkets, accounting profession, breweries,
newsagents, defence manufacturing, IT, Talent, F&B, property development and BP in the
UK, China, Singapore, Switzerland, and Vietnam. First posted to BP China as a Finance
Manager, he then relocated to BP Vietnam in 1990 making him likely the longest Brit and one
of the most seasoned expats in Vietnam.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and CPA
Australia, as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and MSc Strategic
Business Management (Manchester Metropolitan University, UK).
Rick is also the Treasurer & a Board Member of BritCham Vietnam, Vice-Chair AMCHAM
HCMC ICT Group, Chairman Industry Advisory Committee RMIT Vietnam, CIMA assessor,
Co-founder and Vice-Chair of International Project Management Association of Vietnam, and
founder/co-founder/investor of multiple start-ups.
An active promoter of CIMA, Rick is a very regular speaker in Vietnam on multiple topics
including Talent, Accounting, ICT, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Project Management, Doing
Business in Vietnam, UK-Vietnam and US-Vietnam trade and inward investment.
Rick’s coaching journey includes CCMP (ITD World 2018), Leaders Create Leaders (2020),
Genos Emotional Intelligence (2020), OKR Champion (2021) and CCMC (cohort #1 in
progress 2020-21).
