503 Holiday Special Acres Of Diamonds

[00:00:00]

Welcome to the Deep Wealth Holiday Special

Jeffrey Feldberg: Well, hello Deep Wealth Nation and welcome to the Deep Wealth Podcast. Today is a very special solo episode. It's our Holiday Special. Whether you're listening from your office, your car, maybe you're traveling on a plane or your favorite corner of the world, the fact that you're here says a lot about who you are.

It tells me that you're an entrepreneur who's busy in demand and constantly pulled in more directions than any one person should ever have to manage. Yet, despite all of that, despite the pressure, you're still choosing to invest in yourself. You're carving out time, even in the middle of a hectic life, to think bigger, to take your game to the next level.

And that single decision already sets you apart. You're not drifting through your days. You are choosing. And choosing is the first act of leadership. So let me ask you this, because most entrepreneurs never stop long enough to think strategically. They sprint from meeting to meeting, fight fires, answer emails, go through the whole drill, and they react their way through the week.

But you're different. And you're here, and I'm so grateful that you are. And hopefully the Deep Wealth [00:01:00] Podcast is giving you insights and strategies and perspectives that you're not hearing anywhere else.

After all, this is a place where the noise quiets and the clarity begins, and this is where you can get your competitive advantage.

The Importance of Strategic Clarity

Jeffrey Feldberg: So before we go into the Holiday Special, let me ask you a question.

When was the last time you gave your permission to truly step back and see the bigger picture of your wealth, your business, and the legacy that you're building?

And this is what this Holiday Special episode is all about, let this be your edge, your window into a very different way of thinking. It's your opportunity to step out of the grind and into clarity.

Not just any clarity, strategic clarity, your business is not just a revenue engine. It's likely the largest financial asset of your life. What you do today determines whether you retire richer, leave a legacy, or unintentionally leave money on the table.

And here at Deep Wealth on behalf of myself and the team, hopefully we're helping you keep every possible [00:02:00] dollar and maximizing the value that you've spent years and even decades creating.

And I've gotta share with you that this holiday season, I love it because it's a season filled with reflection, gratitude, and renewal where things slow down, we pause together. And let's face it as Type A, a hard charging entrepreneurs, we rarely slow down.

But let's do exactly that this Holiday Season. And as this episode airs, we're nearing the end of the Holiday Season and we're almost in a new Year. In fact, this is the last episode of the year and next week we start a brand New Year, a new chapter from Christmas time to the holiday season to New Year's I absolutely love this time because it gives us a chance to examine who are we becoming as a leader?

Where is the business heading and where are the opportunities?

How do we illuminate those opportunities that are hidden inside the business, that it's so too easy to overlook simply because we're in the routine.

We're doing the same thing day [00:03:00] in, day out.

So stay with me here because this next part is important. This very moment in this year is special when the world gets a little quieter. And the inbox finally loosens its grip there's a rare window of clarity, a moment where we can take a big sigh of relief.

And this is where breakthroughs become visible, because finally, you have the space to notice the diamonds that are already in your hands. And I'm gonna be circling back to that in just a moment. There's a theme to this podcast. I have a wonderful story. But we'll be there in just a moment. So that's why this episode and today matters.

This is not just another episode. This is a shift in the way you think about your opportunity, wealth, and the value that surrounds you day in and day out.

Introducing the Acres of Diamonds Story

Jeffrey Feldberg: And to guide you that shift, I'm gonna share a very special story, a timeless story that has shaped entrepreneurs, leaders, and visionaries for generations.

This story is so powerful it did more than inspire people, believe it or not, and you better believe [00:04:00] it this very story funded and built an entire university.

What am I talking about?

Jeffrey have you lost your marbles? No, I haven't. Let me honor the source, the story, it's called Acres of Diamonds, one of my favorite stories, and it's made famous by Russell H. Conwell.

Now, back in the day, Conwell was a busy fellow wearing many hats. He was, check this out, he was a minister, an attorney, a journalist, an educator, and ultimately he founded Temple University. That's right, the one, the only Temple University. His message with Acres Of Diamonds was so captivating and so transformative that he delivered the story more than 6,000 times.

Think about that 6,000 times the proceeds from that one talk. That's what finance, the creation of the university that continues to this day to change the social fabric of society impacting lives every single day. Think about that for a moment. One idea that was shared and told with clarity and [00:05:00] conviction it created a legacy that outlives the storyteller.

And this is the power of perspective.

This is the power of seeing what others fail to see.

And it's for this reason that I'm sharing with you this story today. Because as lessons are not just timeless, they are deeply personal. And it's especially important as a founder, entrepreneur, business owner, that we prepare for the New Year filled with hope, filled with possibility of a bright and prosperous tomorrow.

And by the way, if this is evergreen content for you, and it's not the start of the New Year, maybe it's the middle of summer. Terrific. Hey, every day, every week, every month, it's a new chapter. The story is timeless.

So whether it's on the eve of New Year's or on the eve of summer or fall, or whatever time it may be, may this story fill your heart and give you a new perspective.

So as we begin, I want you to settle in. And even if you're multitasking, even if your phone is buzzing, even though it's the holidays, it shouldn't be. But even if it is or your inbox is calling your name, give yourself [00:06:00] permission to be present right here, right now. Put everything on hold, put the phone on silence.

In fact, put the phone away. Go into a place of solitude. Better yet, why not take some loved ones or some friends or team members or colleagues and listen to this together? Because what you're about to hear is not just a story, it's a perspective shift. It's a reframing of how you see value. Opportunity, Wealth and the business that you've devoted your life to building.

This is one of those rare moments where a simple idea becomes a powerful strategy, where a story becomes a roadmap and where a shift in thinking becomes the catalyst for transformation.

Who knows, maybe just maybe by the end of this episode, you may discover that one breakthrough that you've been chasing that is not out in the world waiting for you to find it. Instead, it's already within your reach, sitting quietly right in front of you. You've just never seen it with the right perspective that this one opportunity, this market disruption is waiting for you to finally [00:07:00] recognize it because you're showing up today for a reason.

So let's uncover that reason together.

So all of that said, Deep Wealth Nation, are you ready for the story? Acres of diamonds, what do you think? Should we do it? Let's do it. Here we go.

The Story of Ali Hafie

Jeffrey Feldberg: There was once a farmer named Ali, Hafed. Ali lived a life that many people would look at and call comfortable. He owned land, he had crops, he had animals, he had a family he loved. His days carried the kind of rhythm that comes from years of dedication and responsibility. There was pride in his work. There is meaning in what he built. Even if he didn't consider himself wealthy by the world standards, he enjoyed stability, purpose, and the deep satisfaction that comes from knowing that your effort leads to something real.

For years, he felt grounded and steady. He felt earned. And in many ways, this is what entrepreneurs crave, a sense of progress, contribution, and momentum. Ali found that right blend until one ordinary evening everything changed.

A [00:08:00] traveler arrived at Ali's home seeking shelter. Ali welcomed him as generous hosts often do. Over dinner the traveler shared these wonderful stories about distant lands, places filled with wonder and opportunity, but one story in particular captured Ali's imagination more than all the others.

It was a story about diamonds. Magnificent diamonds. Massive diamonds. Diamonds so valuable that they instantly transformed ordinary people into legends. Entire fortunes were created overnight. As the traveler spoke, his voice carried excitement, awe, and possibility. Ali listened. At first he listened with curiosity, then with fascination.

And then very slowly, almost invisibly something inside Ali shifted. Now, let me pause right here and ask you something Deep Wealth Nation. Have you ever had a moment in your life where everything was perfectly fine? One minute, and then suddenly bam, in the blink of an eye after hearing someone else's story, or perhaps you saw they're reel, you [00:09:00] began doubting everything you built.

Entrepreneurs feel this more than anyone. One conversation, one comparison, one shiny opportunity and suddenly what once felt meaningful begins to feel small. And this is exactly what happened to Ali. The life he had once appreciated suddenly felt, well limited. It felt small. The land he worked so faithfully now seemed like an obstacle rather than a blessing.

The crops he harvested felt insignificant compared to the wealth described by the traveler. All of those diamonds, those magnificent diamonds, his thoughts drifted from gratitude to comparison and from comparison to dissatisfaction.

And this moment, it's universal. We've all been there. I've been there. You've been there. Every entrepreneur knows that it's that quiet whisper in the back of the mind that says, what if there's something better somewhere else?

What if the breakthrough that I want isn't here but out there?

What if that real opportunity is the one that I haven't found yet?

[00:10:00] And this whisper has launched incredible ventures. But it has also derailed countless promising businesses and dreams. Ali went to bed that night feeling poor, not because he lacked resources, but because he believed he lacked opportunity.

His life hadn't changed, but his perception had, and as every entrepreneur eventually learns, perception drives decisions and decisions shape destiny.

The next morning, Ali woke up with a heaviness. He couldn't shake. He looked at his land and he sought limitation, not possibility. He looked at his work and felt frustration instead of pride, and he looked at his life and he felt behind instead of capable.

That one story that he heard became a belief that was the turning point that unraveled everything.

Ali sold the farm.

He left his family.

He abandoned the foundation that had supported him for years, and he now walked away from everything familiar and everything stable.

Why?

Because he believed his [00:11:00] opportunity, his big break lived somewhere else, somewhere far away, somewhere he hadn't yet explored, and so he began his search.

He traveled for months, then years chasing whispers and rumors. He searched deserts, mountains, valleys, and riverbeds. Every lead, every new location, every rumor of diamonds pulled him farther from home. Just one more day, he told himself One more opportunity and I'll make it. But each hopeful clue ended in disappointment.

His money ran out, his energy faded, his hope dimmed, and no matter how hard he searched, he found nothing, absolutely nothing. Far from home, without money, without clarity, and without the life he once had, Ali eventually passed away having never found the diamonds that he believed was waiting for him somewhere else.

The Lesson of the Diamonds

Jeffrey Feldberg: Now stay with me here Deep Wealth Nation, because this is where the lesson becomes absolutely unmistakable. The man who bought Ali's farm began settling into his new property. One morning [00:12:00] while walking along the small stream that cut across the land something on the ground caught his attention. It was a black stone that had a shine to it.

He picked it up, examined it briefly, and then took it back home with him. He placed it on the mantle as a simple decoration. Nothing more. Life continued and the new owner had no idea what he possessed.

Weeks later, the same traveler returned, and when he entered the home and he saw the stone on the mantle, he froze his eyes widened, his heart raised.

He examined the stone closely, and he asked the new owner a simple question.

Do you know what you have here?

And the farmer shrugged?

No, it's just a stone from the riverbed.

The traveler replied, my friend, this is a diamond. This is not a stone, and this is one of the largest diamonds I've ever seen. The new owner was stunned, and then he said something that changes the entire meaning of the story. He said the riverbed, it's full of stones like that. They're everywhere.

And now the [00:13:00] truth became clear.

The land that Ali abandoned, the land he dismissed as ordinary. The land he believed had no future was sitting on top of one of the richest diamond mines ever discovered. Ali spent years searching for what he already had.

He left behind the very opportunity that he longed for. He overlooked his own acres of diamonds because he was convinced that Wealth lived somewhere else.

Now, this isn't just a story about a farmer.

This is not a story about entrepreneurs.

This is a story about us Deep Wealth Nation entrepreneurs, founders, business owners. We repeat Ali's mistake more often than we care to admit, and it rarely happens all at once. It begins quietly, gradually, long before it appears in our decisions.

It takes root in our mindset, in our thinking. We look at what we've built. We look at our results and a subtle belief starts to form. The belief that the opportunity we want [00:14:00] must exist somewhere else, somewhere new, somewhere far away from the work we've already done.

Applying the Lesson to Entrepreneurship

Jeffrey Feldberg: So Deep Wealth Nation, let me ask you this.

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, if I could just find the right strategy or launch the right product, or hire just the right person, everything would fall into place? I know I have. It's a tempting thought. It feels proactive. It feels ambitious, but it can also pull you away from the very opportunity that already exists hidden inside your business.

And if we're honest with ourselves, we believe that the next strategy, yes, this is the strategy that will finally change everything. Or we assume that the next product or the next service, yes, that's what's going to solve all the problems that the last one didn't. Or we assume that the next hire, yes, it's going to unlock that massive growth, or we assume the next shiny object will be the magic key that leads to massive success.

But here's the truth, because that belief, yes, it's seductive, yet it's incredibly dangerous. It [00:15:00] feels like progress. But let's not forget, yes, as we're out there taking all these actions, it feels like progress but let's not confuse activity with progress, because often it distracts us from what's already working.

It pulls our attention outward when the real opportunity is inward.

Now stay with me here Deep Wealth Nation, because this is the heart of the entrepreneurial lesson. Your greatest opportunities are almost never out in the world waiting to be discovered.

There are already inside the business that you've built, that you've created. The challenge is not finding new opportunities. The challenge is learning how to see the ones that already exist and in fact, in the Deep Wealth 9-step Roadmap, we talk all about this in step one, big picture where we ask you to look at your customers, the ones who come back again and again.

They're already telling you what they value most if you listen closely enough and hey, look no further than yours truly, my market disruption, it came from when a valued customer, a [00:16:00] loyal customer, shared with me a problem that he was going through that he couldn't solve. This one problem had nothing to do with what I was doing at the time, but it had everything to do with what I was doing at the time. And you know the Embanet story, how it went from Embanet 1 to Embanet 2, to the market disruption to the 9-figure exit.

So let's look at your processes because even small refinements can create meaningful increases in profit, consistency and reliability. Let's look at your culture. A strong, rich, thriving culture, it reduces turnover, it increases performance, and it fuels innovation.

How about your relationships with your stakeholders?

Many of your warmest introductions, your partnerships and strategic doors come from people who trust you. Let's face it, we all want to do business, we love to do business with friends, not strangers. And let's look at the assets inside your company. The systems that you've built, the expertise that you possess, the knowledge that you've accumulated over years, even decades.

These my friends, these are your acres of diamonds. They're [00:17:00] already in your hands.

Recognizing Your Own Acres of Diamonds

Jeffrey Feldberg: So let me bring this home for you because this next insight is one that most founders, entrepreneurs, and business owners tend to overlook.

So what is this one thing?

Well, you are already generating value, but you may not be fully recognizing it. That's right, you may not be fully recognizing the value that you're generating. The limiting factor. It's almost never the business.

The limiting factor is usually awareness, or lack of it.

And here's something that most entrepreneurs overlook.

Diamonds rarely look like diamonds in the beginning. They don't sparkle. They don't announce themselves. They don't show up with a label that says this will change your life. They look like ordinary rocks. They blend into the everyday routine. In fact, they're invisible. They're right in front of us, but they're invisible.

The challenge, otherwise known as the opportunity, is that they appear in the form of something familiar, something simple, something you may walk past without even noticing. And most entrepreneurs step over the diamonds because they do not yet look like diamonds.

And this Deep Wealth Nation Nation this is why the entrepreneur who wins [00:18:00] is not always the one who discovers something new. More often than not, it's the entrepreneur who has the clarity and discipline to recognize extraordinary value hiding inside the ordinary. And this is exactly what brings us to Deep Wealth.

Here is where we connect everything and where the story becomes strategy. Case in point, when I built my 9-figure exit, it didn't happen because I chased new ideas or trends. It happened because I learned to look differently to see my business through a new lens to recognize the value that I ignored for years.

I had been standing on my own acres of diamonds without even knowing it. And the case in point, and I spoke about this with my co-founder Steve Wells, in our 500th episode. When that first offer, that 7-figure offer came to us from that Fortune 10 company, that future buyer who never became the buyer, but that future buyer saw the 9-figure, but he knew.

That myself and my business partners didn't. That buyer was seeing things in color. I was seeing things in black and white. It was like I had blinders [00:19:00] on. And so once we know what to look for, once we know what to recognize, and that's what the 9-step Roadmap Roadmap helped me do. It helped me look at the business in a whole new light that when I did go to market, I showed the world why Embanet wasn't a seven-figure deal.

Why in fact, it was a 9-figure deal. Because once I learned how to see differently, everything changed. Opportunities that were invisible, became obvious. Strengths that were overlooked became powerful. Those are your X-Factors that later on become your Rembrandts and the value that had been dormant became undeniable.

That experience became the foundation of the Deep Wealth 9-step Roadmap, and the Deep Wealth 9-step roadmap became Deep Wealth Mastery, the only system in the marketplace based on an actual 9-figure deal. Because the roadmap exists for one purpose and one purpose alone: to help you uncover your hidden diamonds, the ones already in your business, the ones already in your processes, the ones in your systems, the ones in your customer relationships and the ones [00:20:00] already embedded in your culture and your capabilities.

Deep Wealth Nation, this is not theory. This is not guesswork. This is a proven real world framework from the trenches built on what works with real companies in real markets.

It is grounded in results and not assumptions. The 9-step roadmap helps you uncover hidden profit centers that raise cashflow. It helps you find value creation opportunities buyers would love to pay a premium for, and it helps you identify the competitive advantages that competitors simply cannot copy.

It helps you build systems and transferable knowledge that makes scaling possible, and it helps you strengthen operations so your business runs better, faster and safer, and most importantly, without you. And it helps to create a culture that lowers risk, attracts top talent, and becomes a strategic asset.

And Deep Wealth Nation. Here's the part that most entrepreneurs, founders, and business owners never hear soon enough.

What's the part?

When you recognize your own acres of diamonds, everything, and I [00:21:00] mean, everything changes. Your diamonds are closer than you think, closer than you've ever imagined. They appear in the parts of your business that you're encountering every day.

The parts that have become so familiar you barely notice them. They reveal themselves. The moment you shift your attention from what's missing to what's already strong, already profitable, already valued, and already working. In fact, one of my favorite principles, one of my favorite strategies, Pareto's Law, the 80/20 principle, and it goes something along the lines of this.

20% of your actions are creating 80% of your outcomes. So instead of focusing on, hey, what's not working, why not focus on what is working and what's working so well that we're taking the least amount of activity and action to get the biggest results. So let me ask you something.

When was the last time that you actually stopped long enough to truly examine what's already functioning beautifully inside your company?

Because we're trained to look for problems, but breakthroughs, they'll often come when we [00:22:00] recognize our strengths. Your diamonds, they reveal themselves when you take a thoughtful look at what's already working, they appear. When you ask one simple but powerful question.

Deep Wealth Nation, are you ready for that question?

The question is, who are the customers who love us the most and why?

Let me say that again. Who are the customers who love us the most and why?

Their answers will shine a spotlight on the value that you create that no other competitor can replicate. And that clarity becomes a roadmap for profitability, differentiation, and real market leadership.

And it's that same answer that becomes a roadmap to help you create a market disruption. Your diamonds show up when you document the processes that produce consistent results and Deep Wealth Nation. I know what you're thinking, Jeffrey. Documentation. That is so boring. Yes, it's boring. Hey, no one said doing what's right is always easy.

And documentation when you get it right in fact, in the [00:23:00] 9-step roadmap, Step 2 and X-Factors, the four points of clarity and funny enough, that's based on diamonds documentation that's one of your X-Factors. Most entrepreneurs underestimate the value of consistency because, well, let's face it, it's not exciting.

It doesn't feel innovative, but consistency that is the backbone of scale, it's reliability, it's predictability, it's confidence. When you capture and refine the steps that create excellence, you create diamonds that buyers pay a premium for, and team members rely on. Your diamonds appear when you examine the capabilities that genuinely set you apart.

Think Step 2 X-Factors. We talk about that all the time on the deep podcast.

Discovering Your Unique Capabilities

Jeffrey Feldberg: What are you world class in that no one else even comes close to you?

And by the way, some of your X-Factors like we've been talking about, those are your acres of diamonds they're invisible to you and your mission is to find them.

This is not about the capabilities that you wish you had. It's not about the capabilities that you see others flaunting. This is the capability that you already [00:24:00] have, the ones your customers trust and rely on, the ones your team understands, the ones that the market quietly values.

The Power of Recurring Revenue

Jeffrey Feldberg: These capabilities that Deep Wealth Nation, that is your moat, your leverage, and your multiplier diamonds show up in recurring revenue because that reduces risk. It stabilizes cash flow, and it increases the value of your business, otherwise known as enterprise value. Every sophisticated investor or buyer on the planet searches for recurring revenue because it represents stability and predictability.

And let's face it, the human condition we don't like change. We don't like the unknown. At least most of us don't. I know I don't. Stability and predictability. That's what we want. But even if you never plan to sell, recurring revenue, it gives you confidence, control, and momentum.

Uncovering Customer Insights

Jeffrey Feldberg: The diamonds, they show up in customer insights.

Every conversation, every question, every complaint, yes, every complaint is data. Data that reveals unmet needs. [00:25:00] Needs that point to new offerings and offerings that point to new profit centers. And those profit centers often already exist inside your customer base.

Scaling with Efficient Processes

Jeffrey Feldberg: Your diamonds, they'll show up in processes that scale without the stress. Can you imagine that scaling without the stress. Processes that allow you to grow without breaking the business. And processes that eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste of time and create a rhythm that supports sustainable growth.

It's the same processes that make the company less dependent on you. In fact, they make the company run without you, which increases your freedom today and ultimately the value of your business or your enterprise value tomorrow.

Leveraging Intellectual Property

Jeffrey Feldberg: It's the same diamonds, Deep Wealth Nation, that show up in your intellectual property, your frameworks, your methodologies, your written processes, your brand, your documentation, your unique approach to solving customer problems.

And as you can see, these diamonds, the lists, it goes on and on and on.

Recognizing External Diamonds

Jeffrey Feldberg: And let's not look just internally. Let's look externally. Let's talk about the [00:26:00] partners who believe in you, the customers who advocate for you, the suppliers who prioritize you, the mentors who have guided you, and the relationships which hold so many opportunities that they often go untapped from warm introductions to strategic alliances, to partnerships that open doors, that no marketing campaign ever could. Those Deep Wealth Nation are your acres of diamonds. But here's the important truth.

The Challenge of Recognizing Diamonds

Jeffrey Feldberg: The challenge is not the lack of diamonds they're there.

The challenge is are you recognizing them?

Or are you like Ali and every single day you're passing them by you're not even noticing them?

Because diamonds, like I said earlier, rarely look like diamonds at first. They show up disguised as routine. As normal. As the everyday tasks you pass without thinking it's the same old, same old.

They hide in the simple things that you assume are unremarkable. They hide in the familiar, they hide in the work that you've normalized. Entrepreneurs, founders and business owners, they miss diamonds because they're looking outward instead of inward. They [00:27:00] assume their breakthrough. It's going to come from the next new thing, the next idea, the next hire, the next new market.

More often than not, the breakthroughs come from refining what's already working, optimizing what already exists, and strengthening what's already trusted.

I'll let you in on a little secret. This one has helped me tremendously. I saw it firsthand.

Shifting Focus to Present Opportunities

Jeffrey Feldberg: When you shift your focus away from what's missing and instead to what's present, you cannot unsee your acres of diamonds that have always been there. It's like somebody took the blinders off, they became the raw material for transformation and these acres of diamonds, that's what becomes a multiplier that accelerates your growth.

The building blocks of a business that creates wealth, freedom, and legacy. So before this day ends, please take 60 seconds to write down one diamond in your business that you've walked past without noticing. Hey, Deep Wealth Nation, no judgment. Quick win that diamond. That's it. If you're driving, pull off to the side. If you're walking or running, hey, stop for just a moment. Reflect 60 seconds. That can change your life.

What's one [00:28:00] diamond in your business that you've been walking by every single day?

Best guess. If you're not sure, hey, just best guess because this one single moment of awareness that's what changes everything.

Your diamonds are not far away in some distant land. They're not hidden in a distant opportunity. They're not waiting for you in a future that you haven't reached. The great news Deep Wealth Nation, the wonderful news, your diamonds are already here. They're in your business, in your relationships, your processes, your strengths in your narratives and your stories.

You're standing on your acres of diamonds. The question is not whether they exist.

The only question will you allow yourself to recognize them, refine them, and turn them into the value that takes you to the next chapter?

Now I wanna invite you for just a moment to go deeper than just business strategy, deeper than tactics, even deeper than planning, or metrics or KPIs that we often use to measure progress.

Reflecting on the Past Year

Jeffrey Feldberg: Because this is a moment for you. A moment to slow down even briefly, and reconnect with the heart of your [00:29:00] journey.

Take a quiet breath. Let your shoulders relax and let the pace of your day soften around you. And I want you to think back on this past year, think about everything that you faced, the unexpected challenges, the obstacles that you thought you couldn't overcome, yet you overcame them. They pushed you further than you thought you can go.

The decisions that stretched you. The moments where somehow, some way you found the courage when it mattered more than certainty. And the victories even the small ones, and yes, the big ones that helped keep you moving forward.

Now, I want you to bring to mind what you're thinking about that the people who helped to make a difference in your life, in your business for this past year.

The people whose presence left a mark. Think about that one person who encouraged you at the exact moment you needed to hear it. Maybe it was a sentence or a smile, a message, a gesture. But it arrived exactly at the right time. Or what about that team [00:30:00] member who stepped up not because you asked them to, but because they saw that you needed the help. You needed the support.

They carried the weight when you were carrying too much. They showed loyalty, initiative and heart. And I want you to think about that one customer who trusted you with their business. They chose you when they could have gone to anyone else, maybe even a bigger company. Who knows?

But they chose you. Their trust created momentum, and sometimes momentum changes everything.

And let's not forget about that one advisor or mentor or coach who shared wisdom with you that changed your journey. It literally changed your trajectory. The one who gave you clarity or perspective that you didn't know you needed, the one who saved you from what could have been a huge mistake, or instead helped seize an opportunity.

What about the friend or the family member who reminded you of your strength when you momentarily forgot it?

The person who grounded you, the person who lifted you. What about the person who reminds you that, [00:31:00] hey, yes, you can do it. You're capable, you're resilient, you're built for the journey. You've got the right stuff.

Gratitude and Support Systems

Jeffrey Feldberg: Every one of these people is a blessing. Every moment of kindness, every ounce of support, every gesture of belief, that's what helped you move forward. These are not small things, Deep Wealth Nation. These are foundational pillars that allow us as entrepreneurs and founders and business owners to keep going when the path seems seemingly impossible, yet we make it I'm possible.

And whether you believe these blessings came from God, from the universe, from fate, or from the simple goodness of people, the truth, it's universal. None of us walk this path alone. Success is never the work of one person, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

It's the work of many hands, many hearts, and many moments that align at the right time. So let yourself feel it right now. Feel the gratitude. Feel that connection. Feel the warmth of knowing that you're supported, that you've never been [00:32:00] alone, and that you will not be alone in the year ahead. Feel that.

Feel fortunate.

Do you feel loved?

Absolutely.

How about feeling strengthened and blessed?

Because you absolutely are. And as you step into the New Year, I want you to carry that feeling with you. Let it be your foundation. Let it remind you that goodness still exists, even in times of uncertainty or challenge. Let it remind you that generosity, kindness, and connection, they're not just emotional comforts, they're strategic advantages.

And these strategic advantages, otherwise known as gratitude. Yes, gratitude. Gratitude, it sharpens your vision. Gratitude is what strengthens your resilience and it's the same gratitude that helps you see your acres of diamonds right beneath your feet that you couldn't see before.

And Deep Wealth Nation, remember this truth. Many of the diamonds in your business are revealed through the people around you, the ones who support you, challenge you, yes, challenge you and believe in you, and push you towards your potential. They're part of your journey, part of your [00:33:00] story, part of your wealth.

Carry this gratitude as you move forward. It'll change how you lead. It'll change how you build, and it'll change how you create value.

I want share something with you that's become one of the greatest lessons of my life and one of the clearest truths that I've learned after more than 500 episodes of the Deep Default podcast. It's a lesson that every extraordinary guest on the Deep Wealth Podcast, every accomplished entrepreneur and every visionary, this is what they've echoed in their own way.

Loving the Journey

Jeffrey Feldberg: The journey.

The journey is everything. It's not the milestone, it's not the valuation, it's not the exit, it's not even the revenue target, and is certainly not the finish line that you keep chasing. The journey itself that Deep Wealth Nation, that is a treasure. After more than 500 interviews, I've had the privilege of speaking with some of the most successful people on the planet.

Entrepreneurs who've built, scaled, sold, rebuilt, failed, recovered, transformed, and achieved remarkable success. My goodness, just saying that tires me [00:34:00] out. Their backgrounds could not be more different, and their industries couldn't be more varied. Their paths could not be more unique. But despite all of that, there's one theme that repeats in every story.

The real fulfillment didn't happen at the finish line. It happened every day along the way. The joy was not in the number, it was in the growth, the discovery, the resilience, and ultimately in the becoming. The meaning was not in the achievement. It was the moments that shaped them into who they are today.

Now, don't get me wrong, Deep Wealth Nation, is that to say that they didn't have pressure, they didn't have setbacks? Of course they did. And it's certainly not to say that their success was a straight line. It wasn't. Sometimes it was one step forward, ten steps back. But let me ask you something.

How often are you postponing joy?

How often do you tell yourself I'll celebrate when I reach the next milestone?

How often do you believe that happiness is waiting for you on the other side of the next achievement?

Not the one that you just did right now, but [00:35:00] the next one because it's bigger and it's better. I know I fall into that trap constantly. Sometimes I still do.

How about you?

I know most entrepreneurs also do because we tie fulfillment to goals, and then we push the goals further and further away. But here's what every successful guest has taught me.

If you don't learn to love the journey, there is no goal big enough that'll ever satisfy you.

Let me say that again.

If you don't learn to love the journey, there is no goal big enough that will ever satisfy you, because when the finish line arrives, the moment is brief, the feeling, it ultimately fades. And before long. You're setting a new target. If joy only happens at the finish lines, you're robbing yourself of the thousands of moments in between.

Because success, it becomes fleeting. Fulfillment, it becomes conditional, and joy becomes postponed, and we're not meant to live like that. We deserve better than that.

So you may be asking, well, Jeffrey, how do I enjoy the journey?

What does that look like?

Well, enjoying the journey. It's about being present in whatever you're [00:36:00] doing right now, whether it be on the personal side or on the business side.

It's about noticing what's good right now instead of waiting for permission to feel proud or waiting for that next achievement. It's about appreciating the challenges because this is what shapes you.

Deep Wealth Nation have you ever thought that your success is waiting for you but you're not ready for your success?

You need to go through these challenges. Just like those diamonds. The diamonds, over gazillions of years they get shaped by pressure, deep, deep, deep inside the earth. And then the appear as a diamond. It's the same thing with our challenges. They shape us, they change us they make us better so that when we show up, we're finally ready for the success that was waiting for us.

And when you embrace the journey, that's when everything, and I mean, everything changes. You slow down enough to see the beauty in your progress. You celebrate what you've built instead of criticizing what's missing, you're in the moment. You're recognizing the people who support you instead of rushing past them.

You feel grounded, alive, and connected to your purpose. And [00:37:00] here's the secret that countless successful entrepreneurs and podcast guests have shared with me.

When you enjoy the journey, the goal becomes easier to achieve because your clarity sharpens, your creativity expands, your resilience strengthens, and your energy, it becomes sustainable.

You stop chasing outcomes and you start creating them.

So as you look ahead and especially as we look ahead to the New Year, I want you to do something that's incredibly simple, but don't confuse simple with simplicity.

Be in the moment.

That's right.

Be in the moment.

Be present with your progress. Be grateful for the path you're on. Tell yourself you're exactly where you need to be, right here, right now. Find the joy in that one challenge that up to this point has been driving you crazy. Find meaning in the growth and find fulfillment in the journey itself. Because the journey, it's the part that you'll remember. The journey is what shapes you and the journey that's what transforms you.

It's the journey that's the real [00:38:00] treasure Deep Wealth Nation.

Imagining a Successful Future

Jeffrey Feldberg: That's what success can never replace, and I want you to imagine one year from now, I want you to picture something powerful. Picture a version of yourself who's no longer chasing, no longer searching for answers in far away opportunities, no longer believing that success lives somewhere beyond your reach.

Instead, imagine a version of yourself where you feel centered, grounded, and fully aware of the extraordinary value that's in your business right now and in your life.

Imagine stepping into a year where you feel guided rather than overwhelmed. A year where you feel focused rather than scattered, and a year where your decisions come from intention instead of urgency. Imagine where your results are, not from pressure, but from clarity.

Imagine this. It's 12 months from today and you're waking up with a sense of calm confidence because you spent the year, the past 12 months uncovering, developing and multiplying those acres of diamonds already in your business.

Diamonds that have been waiting for your attention, maybe for months [00:39:00] or years or decades. Diamonds that help to unlock profit, untapped opportunity and value and untapped potential. Imagine a year where every step you take compounds your wealth. It's truly Deep Wealth pun intended. Every decision strengthens your foundation and every improvement amplifies your impact.

Because every choice it's expanding your legacy. This Deep Wealth Nation, this is what happens when you stop searching outward and you start looking inward. When you stop chasing those shiny objects and you start recognizing the brilliance of what you already have. When you finally understand maybe for the very first time, and that's okay, that everything you need, it's always been within you and your business right now.

Imagine yourself at the end of the coming year feeling proud of the business that you've built and proud of the leader that you've become. You're feeling confident in your direction. You're empowered by your clarity. You're energized by your momentum. And you're grateful. Yes, you're grateful for the journey that [00:40:00] shaped you.

And I want you to imagine stepping into that year with a deeper awareness, knowing you are not alone. You are supported, you're surrounded. You're part of a community. You're part of the Deep Wealth community of entrepreneurs who are committed to building meaningful wealth, creating lasting impact, and living with purpose. You're part of something bigger, and as you move into this new chapter, I want you to hold onto that knowing you're far more prepared, far more capable, and far more resourced than you may realize.

And as you're thinking about this, I really want you to uncover your acres of diamonds for this upcoming year.

Not someday.
