Deep Wealth Nation welcome to another episode of the Deep Wealth Podcast. Well, Deep Wealth Nation let me ask you, how you feeling? How is your health? Are you waking up full of energy and vibrance and a bounce in your step, or maybe not so much you feel lethargic, maybe even some migraines or some headaches you've had better days before and you're not looking so much the days ahead.

You heard the official introduction, but we have Jason in the House of Deep Wealth. Welcome to the Deep Wealth Podcast. An absolute pleasure to have you with us. Jason, what's your story what got you from where you were to where you are today?

Jason Shurka: Well, first of all, thank you very much for having me on Jeffrey, I've been looking forward to this. And short, to answer your question, I come from a business family, real estate family. We're mainly in commercial real estate. All around the country, all around the world. We have a civil engineering company in the Middle East and Israel in this case.

So we build bridges and tunnels and stadiums and [00:05:00] airports and so on and so forth. And that's kind of how I grew up. So I grew up in that. space. And I grew up with understanding that I would take over as the next generation to do that whole thing. And I started doing that for about five years.

And you know, it really wasn't fulfilling. So for me, business is not just this physical thing of how much money can you make, for me, it's more so that's important, but when you can connect it with some form of mission or purpose. I find that you get a whole lot further, and I felt that while we're running these businesses and have all these properties, where is my purpose?

Where is my mission? Where can I actually help people to feel fulfilled instead of just growing a bank account? So that's where I started deciding. Let me make some changes over here. And I left the family business. I started a few different nonprofits. I started a few organizations. I started a few businesses in general, and what brought me there was the lack of fulfillment that I had in the former position [00:06:00] in my life that I was holding. And I also felt that in general, when it comes to business and corporations they speak about how important culture is in general, and culture is important, but beyond culture, mission is important.

So I felt that was lacking. I wanted to have both mission and business simultaneously. To have fun every single morning when I wake up and feel that I'm doing what fulfills and satisfies me. And that's not just how do you make more money, but more so and more importantly, how do you create more value for your people?

And naturally, when you focus on how do you create more value for more people, you'll receive more value in return. Now, if you wanna call that value money. That's fine. How can I create more value for my people, more money and revenue streams for the people that are a part of whatever I'm building so we can have them succeed, so we can continue succeeding and you fulfill that cycle.

So it was this dark night of the soul that I had through certain different injuries that. I went through with dislocations of the [00:07:00] shoulder different surgeries that I had to go through. Staph infection. The leg almost killed me near amputation. Thank God today I'm okay. And all of that led me to look at myself in the mirror and say, Jason, what are you doing?

Are you doing something that is fulfilling you? Are you doing something that is helping others? Or are you doing something that is only self-serving? And that's when I decided to make the change and mix those two worlds. How can I build something good as a business while also build something better that's gonna help people in return?

And I'm convinced that's why we're seeing the success that we see around the world right now.

Jeffrey Feldberg: And so from growing up in the family business to being looked as the, okay, next generation, the successor, you went down a different path now with what you're doing. And Deep Wealth Nation with what we're gonna be speaking about. Firstly, this is not medical advice. It's Jason and myself sharing our thoughts, our experiences with anything.

Always check with your medical professional before you do anything. And also Deep Wealth Nation have an open mind. Some of these concepts, some of these studies that we're gonna be talking about, the technologies that [00:08:00] we're gonna be talking about you probably have not heard of. And first gut reaction is, yeah, this is a load of.

Fill in the blank that said, why not have an open mind and listen in to what's actually there and what's going on. So that said, Jason, talk to us about what brought you to the light systems and who you are with that right now, and the full story behind that one. What's going on with that?

Jason Shurka: Absolutely. So I'll give you some bullet points to make it as simplified as possible. So there's an organization that I run called Unified Healing. Unified Healing was built as a mission-based organization to help raise awareness for alternative health and wellness modalities. Now from a business perspective.

one of the fastest growing markets in the world right now, and industries in the world right now. Because a lot of people are sick of the current paradigm. They want to move to other ways of doing things. They see that maybe the pill isn't doing exactly what we wanted to do, and if it is, maybe we just don't like all those side effects.

So that's why you're seeing major exponential growth in the alternative health and wellness industry right [00:09:00] now. Worldwide, you're talking, trillions of dollars worldwide in a growing business, growing industry. So Unified Healing was built with the purpose of saying, okay, a lot of these wellness centers, a lot of these new modalities are gonna exist, but how are we gonna make sure that people actually know about them?

And we created Unified Healing for the purpose of being a network for some of these wellness centers. Today we have about four or 500 around the world in 55 countries. The purpose was to basically partner with these centers. We don't own them. We basically raise awareness for them, market for them, bring people to their doors, and that goal is to make that alternative health and wellness industry boom even faster.

And that's exactly what we've been seeing over the past three years since it started. So the light system came in. Number one, there are many technologies out there that do incredible things. There are some technologies that you're gonna work more on a one-on-one basis. There are other technologies that you're gonna work more of, multiple people at the same time.

And being that so many [00:10:00] people are sick today, statistically speaking, it's insane with the numbers and what we're seeing. Doing things one-on-one can only bring us so far doing things where you can. Impact people simultaneously, several groups of people simultaneously in a positive way, may bring us to that goal a whole lot quicker.

So the reason why I personally like focusing on the light system and many of the centers on the Unified Healing Network have it is because the light system is a form of technology. Think light therapy devices, light therapy technology like red light therapy, also growing business and growing industry.

But it's one of the few technologies out there that. It's non-invasive. You don't need to work one-on-one. You can work simultaneously. These centers have like 30, 40, 50 people in there at a time sometimes, and it makes the process a whole lot more efficient. It also doesn't require effort. All you have to do around these light therapy devices from the light system is sit around them.

I know that sounds crazy, but that's how light therapy works. Red light therapy, you sit in front of a panel. The [00:11:00] way that works scientifically is you will have certain. Nanometers are wavelengths, AKA color, but red within that spectrum, like 650 to 800 nanometers to be able to go and literally change certain things within the body through light, like increasing circulation.

Increasing blood flow, decreasing inflammation, so on and so forth. So on one hand we got the passion for health and wellness. On the other hand, you got an incredible business and you got something that's not only helping a lot of people, but it's a functional business that's growing very, very big all around the world.

Jeffrey Feldberg: Yeah, so Jason, I'm thinking like someone in Deep Wealth Nation and I'm gonna overgeneralize, I'm probably gonna oversimplify as well, but let's just go with it. We'll have some fun with this. And for most people, entrepreneurs included those even in Deep Wealth Nation. I see my doctor once a year. If I'm lucky, I might get seven minutes.

If I'm really lucky, I might get 10 minutes with a doctor. I get my annual physical, and here I'm gonna over exaggerate somewhat. I'm compared to the general population, which to your point, really isn't that healthy, and I know the [00:12:00] standards have really gone down. So what. 10 years ago, 15 years ago, even 20 years ago, was considered not normal.

Today is considered normal, but I'm saying, Hey Jeffrey, everything's good. Oh, by the way, you might have this. You might have that. I'm written a prescription and off I go. On my way in my mind, I'm thinking, Hey, I did my part. My doctor said everything's okay. I just gotta take this med. Everything's gonna be good.

So Jason, let's stop that narrative. Let's put a scratch in that story. Right now. What's really been going on for the past while in terms of how. We're sicker than we think we are, and it's not normal. It's not about aging or quote-unquote getting older. There's something wrong with not healthcare, but sick care.

What would you want us to know? What would you say about that?

Jason Shurka: Well, statistically, the leading cause of death, and I'll speak about America here, the leading cause of death in the United States is heart disease. Second leading cause of death is cancer. Third leading. Is medical errors, the medical system itself, that means that in the top three killers in the country. In the top three, you have the very thing that's supposed to save you. So I like that you said sick care because it's not a healthcare system, it's a sick care [00:13:00] system. They don't prevent, they alleviate symptoms. It's no different than, you know, you have your engine light flashing on your dashboard in your car.

You break the light with a hammer. Well, now we're fixed. No, you're not. You engine's still broken. You just don't know about it because you don't have the symptoms or the alerts telling you that there's a problem. When it comes to doctors, I'm not against doctors whatsoever. I have doctors in my family.

My best friends are doctors, but factually speaking, doctors are not taught nutrition for the most part in school. It's not part of the curriculum now, in my opinion. That's by design. We don't have to get into that right now, but the thing that we're missing. And this is why I like representing light therapy technologies.

Technologies that work on energy, frequency, vibration, light as woo-hoo, as it may sound. They work and they work because that's what you are based on. That's what you're made of. And when you go back to the root, that's how you actually solve a problem. So we are sicker than we think in America itself. A large portion of the population is obese and even larger portion of the [00:14:00] population is overweight.

The average American is on six pharmaceutical drugs every single day. So is our medical system working or is it just a cash cow for certain individuals in power? That's the perspective I hold, and that's why I wanted to change that. Now, that's a threat to certain people in power, and that's great, but that's not gonna stop people like me.

What we need to do is we need to be aware of the. Very open statistics that are publicly published for everybody to see and make a change. If we were so good in the medical industry as we think we are today, then cancer would've been down over the past 50 years. Not up. Heart disease would've been down over the past 50 years, not up.

Autism would've been down over the past 50 years, not up. And we're seeing ourselves get sicker and sicker. Our medical system may be advancing, not in stopping the sickness and alleviating the symptoms, and that's just not okay. We need to change that.

Jeffrey Feldberg: And Jason, when you're going down this path, you're like every one of us, you're in Depa Nation, you're doing your thing, you're the entrepreneur, and it happens to be in the real estate business. Now, default nation for this next part. Please keep an open mind with what we're gonna go down [00:15:00] next. So Jason, you had an encounter, I'm using that word very deliberately with a network, the light system, a collective that shared some narratives with you, some insights, and that forever change your life.

So what's that all about? Let's just take it right to the core here. What was going on with that encounter? And you went in one way, you came out a different way. What's happening there?

Jason Shurka: I'll give you bullet points again to simplify it. Just like there are organizations out there that are not good, and by the way, people hear that. They say, okay, the CIA, the Mossad, so on and so forth. There are a lot of good people that work in those. I'm just saying from top down, we all know at this point, it's pretty obvious that there is some corruption over there, and that sum of a corruption does add up to some really big life implications.

So just like there are organizations or people out there that do things for negative purposes, there are organizations of people out there that do things for positive purposes. So that's the organization you're talking about. I was approached a few years ago. I was given certain, information with the ability to share that information.

If I [00:16:00] chose, some of that information is physically oriented. Some of that information is spiritually oriented. Some of that information, some people make. Take to the bank and some of that information, some people may say, that's just too far fetched for me. My goal is not to convince, my goal is just to share.

I'm the messenger. I find it to be important information, and ultimately it aligns with my mission. My mission is how can we make this world a healthier place? Because without health, you have nothing. I don't care if you have a billion dollar company. I don't care if you have all the money and all the cars in the world if you're sick.

You will give that all up to be healthy again, healthy, both physically, healthy, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, whatever it is. That is what we're missing. That's one of the purposes of that organization that you're talking about, and it's in high alignment with what I do in my life today. I.

Jeffrey Feldberg: And so with that alignment, you're also an accomplished author. You have four different books to speak of, and perhaps more in the pipeline coming down there of the books. For somebody in Deep Nation, if they were to start with one book. Where would you want them to start with all of your books? What would be the one that you'd recommend?

Jason Shurka: I would recommend [00:17:00] two 'cause they're really connected to each other and they're not long. They're easy to read. I don't recommend reading them. I recommend studying them. If you study them, you will get a lot more out of it. And if it becomes second nature of what's written in that book of what it's teaching you to do in your day-to-day life, it will change the way you do business.

It will change the way you have relationships that will change everything that you do in the most positive possible way. Those two books are my first two books, actually. One is called Forming the Formulas. It's available on Amazon. The other one is called The Language of Energy. The Language of Energy is a break off chapter from forming the formulas, but it goes a whole lot deeper and it teaches you formula.

So it's not just this like. Metaphysical esoteric thing of something that's hard to understand. It gives you real life ways of applying certain things to not create things by accident or by luck, but to create things on purpose. And if you're using that for good purposes, you could do some pretty awesome things.

As a matter of fact. The books were written by me reversing engineer, what I did by accident and turning it into something that you could do on [00:18:00] purpose. So I wanted to see this. Success cannot be luck. There needs to be something else going on here. There's cause and effect. If I can reverse engineer and understand the cause, well then I can then figure out, which I did in these books and I explained it.

Figure out how to formulate a cause in a specific way to produce your desired effect. And that's exactly what those books teach. Now, if you want to take it a step further, my latest book is called Accessing Awareness, and that's just a much higher level of what's spoken about in those other two books that I mentioned.

So I would definitely recommend accessing awareness, if you wanted to take it a step further, but forming the formalist in the language of energy or a good place to.

Jeffrey Feldberg: And if we go back to the language of energy for just a moment, I wanna highlight one of the areas, chapter two, actually choosing your words wisely and nation. Do you actually pay attention to the words that you're using? And Jason, for myself. A number of years ago, I actually started listening and watching the words that I was using.

I was shocked with some of the words that were coming up because words are things, whether we [00:19:00] subscribe to Napoleon Hill from thinking real rich or don't. The one thing he said that always stuck with me is, Hey, our inner thoughts, that's what we manifest into our outer world. So when we're talking about what you learned and now what you're teaching and how you're helping out there, when it comes to words and specifically perhaps words we should or shouldn't be using, what would you wanna share with you both nation?

Jason Shurka: Well, you just used. Of them should. So there are a few words that I like staying away from. Should versus could is a very big distinction, should, has a judgment towards it could shows you opportunity. Now, you may think it doesn't matter, but it does because every single word that we speak has an energy behind it.

That energy shapes your life and we know that it has an energy behind it because I can literally map the energy of the frequency of my voice speaking right now, we are made up of those energy. Some are physical, some you can see, some you can't. Like a thought. A thought is an energy you cannot see. You can think it.

You can't see it, it exists. It's the same idea. So words like the difference between [00:20:00] should versus could opportunity versus judgment towards something. Words like the word not. If you're using the word not in a sentence, that means you're automatically focusing on the wrong subject. And the subject that you focus on will likely be what you're gonna experience.

And I'll give you an example. If you say, I do not want to be sick anymore. Well, it's great that your intention is probably wanting to be healthy, but that's not what you said and that's not what you put out there. And now whether you like it or not. The way that I like explaining it in like the universe terms, is the universe doesn't hear the word no.

It just hears the word sick. It focuses on the subject that you are focusing on. So the difference between, I don't want to be sick or thank you for giving me the opportunity to be healthy or huge, because they may have the same intention, two completely different outcomes. Another one could be, will I will do this.

Why will you? Why are you placing it in the future? Unless you're using it for practical [00:21:00] purposes on a to-do list fair. But the more you keep saying you're going to do something, meaning I will. And not bringing it into that present moment, you're gonna create a problem. That thing is forever going to be in your future and not be brought into your present.

This is why I. Business is a spiritual game. It's not a physical game. It's a spiritual game, and that's not woo. We're out there. These are the laws. Some of them, and what I explain in the books are the laws that will make you successful. It's not, maybe they'll make you successful. That will be the outcome if you choose to take that path, because they're not my opinions.

They're universal and energetic fats. There are certain laws, and when you abide by those laws, for example, the law of reflection. The law of reflection in the spiritual sense is as above, so below as within, so without, well, if you're the leader of your organization, if you're the owner of your business and you have a bunch of staff under you and employees under you that are operating in certain ways and you don't like how they're [00:22:00] operating, look at yourself in the mirror because rule number one, when it comes to the law of reflections, applied, your business is a reflection of you.

And if you keep seeing, why do I keep, hi, I've seen this in the past. Why do I keep hiring somebody that ends up being an alcoholic? Well, maybe 'cause you're drinking too much and smoking too much. When you start fixing yourself, the reflection will reflect what you're actually doing. And if you don't, then the beautiful part is when it comes to working on yourself well.

Working on yourself. You can use your external environment to see where you need to work on yourself and in business. You gotta look at your team. Where are their strengths? Where are their weaknesses? Their weaknesses are your weaknesses, and when you can fix those weaknesses within yourself, those weaknesses will then reflect as strengths in your team.

Jeffrey Feldberg: And so my next question, it is not a fair question. You're not gonna have enough time to answer it. It would really be, not an episode, but an entire series that we could be able to do. For a [00:23:00] moment though, I wanna tune into Wii fm, which is the world's favorite radio station for every single person. It's the What's in it for me, radio station and for Deep Nation.

They're coming into the episode saying, okay, I want to hear, what can I do? To achieve my goals, to experience joy and fulfillment, and perhaps, I'm gonna take a guess here. Perhaps it's having a business, a massive business that's profitable, is changing lives for the better. A wonderful team, a terrific lifestyle, all those kinds of things.

So the unfair question here, Jason, is these aren't silos. One over here and then one over there, and one over there. It's a complete system, just like we're not a silo, we're a complete being. And from that perspective, knowing what you know to at least lay foundationally what default nation, I was gonna say the word should, what default nation could do with the information that you're gonna share.

So from that health perspective. What would you want us to know? And then from a thought perspective, from an energy perspective, from a spiritual [00:24:00] perspective. And again, not a fair question. I'm throwing you out there. I'm asking it anyways. Big picture wise, can you lead us through that of what that could look like if we were to consider that?

Jason Shurka: So I'll do my best to be as, succinct as possible with this response. 'cause you were at, it is a very big question. It could have a loaded answer. I'll give you the bullet point answer to the best of my ability just off the top of my head. Number one, everything starts with the energy that you hold your bank account.

Your bank account is a reflection of that. Now, there are some people that are miserable with a lot of money. Is that really the goal that you want? Probably not. So look at your goals and break them down into both physical goals, and whether you call it energetic, spiritual, emotional, I don't care what you call it, but break it down to those two buckets and always focus on those two buckets.

Because yeah, you could say, I want the Lamborghini and I want the $10 million in my account, and I want the exit at $50 million and all those things, but. That without what your true purpose is, which is gonna be in the other bucket, will be worth [00:25:00] nothing. So I'm trying to save all of you time by sharing, make sure you focus on what actually matters before you focus on what you think that matters.

And at the very least, do those things at the same time. So what emotions do you want to feel when you get to the point of the physical destination that we're speaking about? The cleaner you speak. The cleaner you think the more positive you are. And I know that sounds funny, but it's true. The more you celebrate small wins, the faster you're gonna grow because your goals and your benchmarks and your milestones are no longer so far out that a celebration maybe happens once every five years.

Make a celebration happen every day. What little thing did you achieve today? Some of us wanna start new businesses. I see this with my wife, by the way. She wants to start a new business and she spoke to me the other day and she said, Jason, there's two. I'm overwhelmed. I'm like, okay. Why are you overwhelmed?

She said, because I'm looking at this and I'm looking at this and I'm looking at, I said, great. So how about you just look at one thing at a time? What do you have to do today? And when you finish that, you wake [00:26:00] up tomorrow, what do you have to do tomorrow? You will never know what you have to do for the next year.

Right? Now you may think you know that it may give you closure, but newsflash, you have no idea. And I'm just telling you that from somebody that's experienced and doing all of these things, you have no idea what the next year holds. You do have an idea for the most part. What today? Tomorrow, maybe the next day holds take one day at a time, take one step at a time.

It will help you achieve things a whole lot quicker because you're no longer dealing with this thing of I'm overwhelmed, and then it freezes you and you don't even start. Or you just do what you can. Almost like if you wanna lose a hundred pounds and you say, let's lose a hundred pounds, that's a far-fetched goal.

But if you just say, let me lose five pounds, and then you lose those five, which is much easier, you could do that in a week. Well then now I'm gonna lose another five. And by the way, because I lost the first five, now I have motivation to lose the second five. And you do that 20 times, well, you're gonna get to your a hundred pound lost goal and you've just celebrated 20 times along [00:27:00] the way with motivation to keep moving forward after every single win.

So I would say keep those things in mind with any business you do. And if you are interested in the health and wellness space, which. You could be. You don't need to be, but you could be because it's a huge opportunity in terms of where we're moving forward, not just business wise, but also truly making this world a better place, which is something that keeps me going as well, when in terms of opportunities out there.

I spoke about it earlier with U Unified Healing. We have that network of wellness centers around the world. Well, you can have one of those. You can open one. We're in 55 countries. There's like four or 500 centers. We started this three years ago. How do you open 500 centers in three years? You don't. A team does with a lot of people all around the world, and you don't need to run that team.

You need to partner with each center. I'm giving you an idea of the model. So anybody could be a part of that. If you're a chiropractor, if you have a wellness center of some sort, a clinic of some sort, you can bring in a technology [00:28:00] and be a part of the Unified Healing Network. If you want to bring in the light system to a brand new center you're opening, you could do that too and be a part of the unified healing.

Work. These are not just business opportunities, although I understand that may be a focus of the people listening here beyond the business opportunity that it shows. It is something that will make you a happier person, and when you can mix those two, you've won.

Jeffrey Feldberg: And what's interesting about that, just to pause for a moment with what you're sharing, that's some of the classic things that we've heard time and time again. I'm using different words, but it's getting to the same thing. Hey Jeffrey, be in the present moment. Yesterday's already gone tomorrow isn't here.

Don't dwell on the past. Focus on the present moment. Be present. Celebrate the wind. Feel gratitude, feel joy. And I know the science is starting to show what some of the ancient civilizations have known for eons. That gratitude, love, joy, are some of the highest frequency emotions that are around. Now, speaking of the science, as you're talking about this, so you're giving us a mindset that we can do you also on the backend, you have the [00:29:00] technology, and I know for some of you in Depa Nation, you are, hey, if it doesn't exist in a spreadsheet, if it's not a complicated formula, it just doesn't exist at all, and it's a bunch of.

Fill in the blanks of what's Sarah, but you've actually had studies. You've had research that's been done. I was looking at some of the studies beforehand in terms of the light systems. Can you share it with you both nation, what the science is saying, with what you're doing with the light system? What's going on behind that in terms of, okay, here's the technology.

Here's what's likely gonna happen. Here's what you're gonna start feeling. Here's what you're gonna stop feeling. What's going on behind the scenes with that? How's it all working?

Jason Shurka: Yeah, so the latest study that just came out in simple terms showed an 80% increase in electrical conductivity. In your cells, which I'll explain in a moment, an 80% increase in electrical conductivity in the cells in one hour. And that's huge because most other technologies that are similar or even in the same space may have a 20, 30, 40% in like 20 hours.

So an 80% increase in one hour is massive. That study is on the light systems.com, by the [00:30:00] way. So definitely check that out if you wanna read about it. And there's gonna be many more that are coming out. The reason why that's important is because we are scientifically, factually. Electrical beings. Our cells all have something called mitochondria.

Your mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell that generates electricity. Every cell has a certain voltage to it, and when that voltage or its electrical conductivity in this case will drop. Well, then you're gonna get sick. So the goal is to increase the electrical conductivity, then increase the voltage in the cells, so you then increase a lot more energy in the body to deal with whatever you're dealing with.

And ultimately, it's the body that's gonna heal itself. It's just the technology that's giving the body the power. To do that, essentially to do what it needs to do to facilitate the process. So that's why increase in electrical conductivity in the cells is so important and a decrease in impedance. So resistance, and that's why people are seeing the results that they're seeing of, even when I saw it, I [00:31:00] said, maybe this is.

Woo Woo. Maybe it doesn't exist. Maybe it's just fake. What got me over the edge was not just studies, it was seeing thousands of people around the world sharing a lot of incredible testimonials and animals, which ruled out the placebo effect for me, and that's why I stand so firm by it.

Jeffrey Feldberg: And so in today's world, in our society, in our environments, and we have lots of technology, and going back to what you said earlier, no judgements here, some of the technology perhaps can be helpful, some of it perhaps is going in a different direction. So what are we typically experiencing on the health side that we may not even realize that's taking away from our potential, taking away from our energy, our vitality, our sovereign health?

Jason Shurka: I think that's an even more loaded question than the last one. Dirty water, dirty food, dirty thoughts, dirty electricity. Literally it's called dirty electricity. High radiation levels. We're not living in the natural world anymore, but we're not. Also gonna go back to being cavemen. So we gotta deal with where we're at and fix it accordingly.

So I [00:32:00] would say a combination of absolutely everything. But a place to start would be cleaner food and cleaner water, because that does become a part of you in the most direct and physical way. And if you're eating toxins and you're eating processed food, you're eating food, that it's Maine caloric.

Energy is based on something that's not real like a Dorito, for example, or anything that comes out of a plastic bag. You're probably gonna have a problem because now your body is using energy in order to digest, but it's not getting the energy from the food. And that's like. It's the most simple thing in nature.

You don't want to output more energy than you're bringing in. You need to have a surplus if you want to be healthy. And if it takes more energy to digest food, then you get from the food itself, you probably shouldn't be eating that food.

Jeffrey Feldberg: Okay, so in terms of what we have some control over. The kinds of liquids that we're drinking, clean water, clean food, because we're directly ingesting that. It's coming in direct contact with the body [00:33:00] and it has a whole cascading effect one way or the other from there. And Jason, so from your own journey, we've been all over the map, but I do promise there is a method to the madness.

You are going down the more traditional route, like so many others in nation, in that entrepreneurial mode happened to be on the real estate side. You then had this encounter, and if you look at the JS today. Versus the Jason before that whole encounter began. Walk us through, how are your days different?

What's a day like for you today compared to what it was like before you began this journey?

Jason Shurka: Every day today is different. There are some days that are much calmer. There are other days where I forget to eat and I forget to eat 'cause I'm in where I'm at, you know? and ultimately. Back in the day before I started all this, I had more of a routine. I had a lot more free time. But here's the thing, if you have a lot of free time now, you're not gonna have a lot of free time later.

So you gotta make your decision. You wanna play now and work later, or you wanna work now and play later. I choose to work now as hard as I possibly can and [00:34:00] play later, and that's kind of what I do on the day to day. But to answer your question directly, I'm much stronger. In terms of my own convictions today, because I've seen certain things that I thought were possible.

Now I know they're possible because they've actually happened. I've also learned to not be as naive with people. I come from a place of I don't even need a, contract with you. If we have a deal, we have a deal. We'll sign a contract if you want, but my word is my word and that's not how.

Most of the world works and sometimes you're gonna get people, especially in business almost all the time, you're gonna get some people here and there that are gonna try to screw you over. So one of the biggest lessons, and it's actually a funny lesson, and my father taught me this one before he passed away, and he said always, and I didn't like this lesson until I understood that he was right.

He said, always before you go into contract with anybody, you always respect them. But internally, you always assume that they're gonna steal from you. You always assume that they're gonna do something that's gonna hurt you, and you write the contract accordingly. [00:35:00] Because if you prepare for the worst, then even the worst situation, you're good.

That doesn't mean that the person's a bad person. You just need to, you don't need to do this. This is what I do where you first assume, no, it's not. It's not innocent until proven guilty. It's guilty until proven innocent. And if you take that line in the world, not in a cynical way, you will be in situations where you're a lot more protected.

When things do go wrong and things will go wrong and things will go south, it's business. It happens all the time. So put yourself in a situation. You're not disrespecting another individual. They didn't do anything to you, but you are setting boundaries and you're setting clear lines before you enter any type of partnership or relationship for those purposes specifically.

And I didn't do that in the beginning. I was very trusting. I was very giving, and there were people that took advantage of that. So today I've changed in that way and I'm not. Negative or cynical in any way whatsoever. It's just being real, right? This is the world. There are people in it that will do X, Y, and Z.[00:36:00]

You don't always know who those people are. Almost always. You don't know who those people are in the very beginning. That's why you went into contracts with them, and then you end up getting hurt. So, how I changed, but also my, advice to everybody from a human to a human, a friend to a friend, is when situations arise.

When what you call negative situations arise, don't let them boggle you down. Don't let them stop you on what you're doing. You may feel like you wanna give up sometimes Don't give up. As a matter of fact, use the fuel of the anger that you may be feeling 'cause you're human. That makes sense. And fuel not revenge.

Never go that route. In business, it doesn't work. Fuel, use the angel as the fuel to succeed. And when you do that, success is the best thing that you can do in a situation like that. Not anything else.

Jeffrey Feldberg: Some very sound advice there. And Jason, much like you, I've been on both sides of that coin. One side is better because like yourself, I was so trusting and hey, not everyone is like [00:37:00] that and no judgment. That's just the way that it is. So before we go into wrap up mode, just a few more questions for you.

I wanna circle back to something that you said earlier, and that is you didn't go into business for the sake of going to business when you began with light systems and everything that you're into now you have a mission. You're on a vision, a big vision in terms of what you wanna do is not about yourself.

If anything, you're at the very end of that. It's about the world, it's about other people. And I know it sounds, if I can use the word somewhat corny, a little bit corny out there, but it really is the truth in terms of what's there and big picture wise with you. So why don't you share with you both nation, what's your mission and when it comes to the light system, what's the big picture?

What's the vision here of what you're looking to achieve and accomplish?

Jason Shurka: Ultimately helping humanity heal itself. I wanna see a better world. I know they want to see a better world. We wanna see a healthier world. And when people are healthier, the world does become better. You have less people that want to do negative things for whatever reason they choose to. You have people that are more aware.

Those are extremely, [00:38:00] extremely important if you wanna make this world a better place. That's my mission. That's everything I staff.

Jeffrey Feldberg: And what a mission, what a vision that is. It's such a typical entrepreneurial story. Hey, I see a, what some people call a problem, I call it an opportunity out there. Lemme be world class in solving it. Let me make it effortless. Lemme make it easy to do. I wanna help enough people get what they want.

Eventually I'll be able to get what I want. So that said, let's go into rapid mode. It is a tradition here on the Deep Wealth Podcast. It's really my privilege, my honor. Every guest I ask the same question. It's a really fun question. Let me set this up for you. When you think of the movie Back to the Future, you have that magical DeLorean car that will take you to any point in time.

So Jason is tomorrow morning. This is the fun part. The DeLorean car is curbside, the door is open. You hop on in. You're now gonna go to any point, whether it be Jason as a young child, a teenager, whatever point you choose. What would you tell your younger self in terms of life lessons or life wisdom or, Hey Jason, do this, but don't do that.

What would it sound like?

Jason Shurka: It is so funny because everything that I would answer to that question, people gave me the [00:39:00] advice. And guess what? Sometimes I listened and sometimes I didn't. And that's also what got me here to today. So I'm gonna give you different answer than I think yours. I wouldn't get in the car. And I wouldn't get in the car because I don't wanna change anything from the past because look where it brought us.

I wouldn't get in the car. I wouldn't change anything, and I wouldn't say to do anything differently because I believe that everything works perfectly. On a more practical level, to answer your question, I would say exactly what I'm thinking today. Always know. Everything's gonna work out and have faith in everything that you do because faith is what will make you succeed.

Even when you can't see where you're going next. If you have faith that it's gonna work, it will work. My faith was tested many times over the past 10 years, and sure if I could have gotten to that point faster, maybe I would've been in an even better place right now. But I'm happy with where I am. I'm happy with what I have.

I'm happy with what we're doing, and I wouldn't change a thing in the past.

Jeffrey Feldberg: It's a terrific answer. And actually, Jason, what I love about that, if there's one [00:40:00] theme from all the guests on the default podcast, that's the most popular theme, Jeffrey, I wouldn't wanna change a thing because if I changed one thing, I wouldn't be where I am today. And some of my. Quote-unquote dark times.
